1 General Terms
These Terms of Use govern the rental of vehicles from AutoRent.gr. By making a reservation, you accept these terms in full. The rental agreement is between the renter and AutoRent.gr, based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
2 Driver Requirements
The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year. A valid ID or passport is required. For non-EU licenses, an International Driving Permit may be required. Additional drivers must meet the same requirements.
3 Booking & Payment
Reservations require a 10% deposit or full prepayment (with 10% discount). The remaining balance is due at pickup. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and bank transfers. No credit card is required for booking or vehicle pickup.
4 Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup with full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5 Insurance
All rentals include comprehensive insurance with 0€ excess (full damage waiver), theft protection, third-party liability, and 24/7 roadside assistance. Coverage does not include damage caused by negligence, driving under influence, or off-road driving.
6 Renter Obligations
The renter must: treat the vehicle with care, not smoke in the vehicle, not allow unauthorized drivers, report any accidents immediately, return the vehicle on time and in the same condition (normal wear excepted).
7 Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. If returned with less fuel, a refueling charge plus service fee applies.
