Who exactly am I renting from?
AutoRent.gr is a booking platform operated by Creative Media (Kalamaria, Thessaloniki). The actual rental service is provided by a licensed partner rental agency in Thessaloniki. The partner delivers the vehicle, signs the rental contract with you at pickup, and issues the official tax receipt. You will see the full partner details on your rental contract.
Who do I pay — AutoRent.gr or the rental agency?
Online payment (deposit or full prepayment) is processed by AutoRent.gr via Stripe, on behalf of the rental partner. Any remaining balance is paid directly to the partner at vehicle pickup. The Stripe receipt serves as proof of payment; the official tax receipt (ΑΠΥ/invoice) is issued by the rental partner.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Before pickup (booking changes, cancellations, general questions): contact AutoRent.gr at +30 6978 156 635 or info@autorent.gr. During or after the rental (accidents, mechanical issues, billing of additional charges): contact the rental partner directly using the details on your rental contract.
Is this safe? Is the partner reliable?
Yes. Our partner is a licensed, insured car rental agency operating in Thessaloniki for many years. All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance (0€ excess, theft, third-party liability, 24/7 roadside assistance). Online payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Booking

How do I make a reservation?
Select your pickup location and dates on our homepage, choose your preferred vehicle, add any extras, and complete the booking with your details. You will receive an instant confirmation email.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 3 days.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel for free up to 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. For modifications, please contact us directly.
Do I need to pay in advance?
You can choose to pay a 10% deposit now and the rest at pickup, or pay in full and get a 10% discount.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and bank transfers. No credit card is required for booking or pickup.
Is a deposit required?
With our All Inclusive package, no security deposit is required at pickup.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see includes everything: full insurance, unlimited kilometers, VAT, and all fees. No surprises.

Insurance

What insurance is included?
All rentals include comprehensive insurance with 0€ excess (full damage waiver), theft protection, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
Do I need to buy additional insurance?
No, our All Inclusive package already covers everything. Additional coverage is optional.
What happens in case of an accident?
With our 0€ excess insurance, you are fully covered. Simply call our 24/7 support line and we will handle everything.

Pickup & Return

Where can I pick up the car?
We offer pickup at Thessaloniki Airport (SKG), Thessaloniki city center, and Thessaloniki port. Airport pickup is available 24/7.
What documents do I need?
You need a valid driving license (held for at least 1 year) and a passport or ID card. International driving permit may be required for non-EU licenses.
What is the minimum age to rent?
The minimum age is 21 years. Drivers must have held their license for at least 1 year.
Can I return the car to a different location?
Yes, one-way rentals are available between our locations for an additional fee.
